Water Activities

Ravens Ridge is several blocks from Lake Simcoe with free access for kayaking, stand up paddle boards and canoeing (bring your own as there are no rentals available).

 

If looking for a scenic way to explore the area be it hiking/walking, cycling (off road), snowmobiling, cross country skiing or snowshoeing, Ravens Ridge is blocks away from the gravel Oro Medonte Rail Trail. The 36.5 km trail (one way) between Orillia and Barrie has a route designation of Easy.

Trails

Plan Ravens Ridge as your rest stop when contemplating a trip on the  multi day, 160 km scenic Simcoe county loop trail that travels through nine municipalities, reaches three major bodies of water, including Georgian Bay, Lake Simcoe and Lake Couchiching. It is primarily an off-road, multi-use rail trails.
